Healthy Drinking Matters Too
I frequently come across people who have no idea why they can't lose weight. They tell me their diets are on point, but fail to realize that what you drink can be a huge part of the season as to why you are unable to shed excess pounds. A can of soda can be as much as 180 calories, considering the sugar content. It's easy to lose track and have a few of these a day, and before you know it, you've added enough extra calories into you diet to equate to an extra meal, or a 30 minute run (400-500 calories). Best practice when trying to shed pounds is to stick to water, or smoothies for breakfast. Cut out any sugary drink as over the course of a week the calories add up, and may be the very reason you struggle to lose weight.
